Spiritual Evolution I) Harmonizing Body, Mind and Spirit. Seek peace within your body, mind and soul and you'll be at peace with your peers and also with God. Seek this constantly, during each moment of your daily routine, not allowing anything to disturb this commitment and even, if it were to occur, start again with perseverance for this forms roots and they become part of your nature. Observe how a child plays or how he or she gladly sleeps and, in this way, learn that lesson called "Harmony". Free your body from tension, since the state your body is in influences that of the mind and the state of the mind influences that of the body. Relax and breathe with complete calmness, maintaining this state during every moment and, specially, when circumstances arise that may unsettle your harmony. If your breath is deep and slow and in sync with the rhythm of your heart, its force shall give peace to your body. Also, the Will shall give peace to your mind, by polarizing your thoughts in such a way that they follow the rhythm that oscillates towards the good side of things. Be like children. They do not poison their minds with the passions that destroy harmony. Use the force of polarization that manifests in the Universe in order to polarize actively when these passions are on the move. By doing this, you'll be able to dominate your mind's emotions. Do it throughout the day and always with a continuous improvement of yourselves regarding thoughts, words and deeds. Follow the rhythm and the polarization of the Universe inside the beings and things that surround you, until Harmony arrives and Peace is with you. II) Knowledge of yourselves: at the start of a new day.
Concentrate all your energies upon living intensely the few hours you have ahead, from the dusk that wakes you up until restful sleep calls you back again. Forget yesterday and live tomorrow for its right moment. Forget your mistakes but remember the experience and, upon remembering, remember only the good things that brighten your day, because it's foolish to carry today on your shoulders what was yesterday's burden. Live today to the fullest because the present is the most beautiful gift you possess, since life is an Eternal Now. Also, make each of your days, days of prayer to Life, to Love and to Joy, that is, a hymn to the One Creator. In a
day's journey You are not the inert stone that lies on the road and neither are you like dry leaves carried by the wind. You are free because your Will guides you. Life is a continuous opportunity to improve, in the smallest things, in the interaction with your brothers, in your thoughts, words, and deeds and in life's struggle. Oh walker along the path, be aware of your steps during each moment of the day's journey! At the
end of the day When you are assigning value on your thoughts, words and deeds don't base on the precisions of the human scale. Go to the judge that dwells within, the one that (always) is and knows everything about you and he will pass the fair and wise sentence, with the voice of the Consciousness which speaks to the heart, the Consciousness that will speak on your behalf at the end of the day.
Nevertheless, do assimilate the best of the good things you've done, in order to save it as a treasure in your heart. Accumulate those treasures there and you'll be rich. No one, including death, which destroys the material aspect, will be able to take those treasures away from you, because they belong to the Spirit and they will always be wherever you are. In truth, this is the only kind of wealth you'll be able to take from this world. Therefore, don't treasure material riches in your gold vaults because the Father won't look there at the hour of reckoning. Instead, He'll look at the vaults of the Soul. If you analyze and learn from what you've done each day, you'll know about your nature a bit more and, in this way, you'll be able to know yourselves. Then, regarding each of your days, TODAY will be better than YESTERDAY and less than TOMORROW and for being truly sincere with yourselves, you'll be better each day. Your life is like a canvass where your activities are recorded. You draw lines and create tones and colors with your thoughts, words and deeds and each of them leave their mark in the Book of Life. And at the end of the day, when your sojourn on Earth is over, you will make a stop at the Threshold of the World in order to observe your work. There, you'll see the reflection of everything that has been done. Your hidden most thoughts, your quietest words and your most insignificant acts will have left their imprint in the Book of Life. Observe that which you have left and will leave on your canvass, because you'll be the judge of all of that and, truly, there isn't a more severe judge than Man when he judges himself. Also, there's no worse hell than the one created by his Consciousness. This is because the Father loves us above all else but Man doesn't know divine forgiveness. III) Spiritual Alchemy: Meditation and realization
Concentrate. Focus the mind on a lofty idea, on that which you love and represents the highest for you. Meditate on that and go deeper into its meaning and essence. Identify your selves completely with the object of your meditation until you become one and nothing separates you from it. Then, you'll understand and really know about it, because you'll have become one being with it. Meditate on your essence, which is the same essence as that of the Universe surrounding you. The smallest and the grandest are in Essence the same, because they were created from the same substance. The essence of a drop of water is the same as that of the sea and inside of you lies divinity itself. Like the drop of water, your Essence is Divine and expands seeking its real dimension. Go to the Source of Light and Wisdom that flows unceasingly in the Temple of the Spirit and then drink from it. Go to the masters that love you and wait for you. Learn from them. Ask and it will be given to you. Ask for the Truth and then listen to the words that the lips of Wisdom have for each of you. They are the words that you need and that you're able to understand, because they know of that which you need and are able to receive, since they know you very well, even better than how you know your selves. Listen and learn and then REALIZE WHAT HAS BEEN LEARNED, transmuting knowledge into WISDOM and putting into action or applying teaching that has been received, so that it doesn't become like dead letters and hollow words that don't leave a mark in the Book of Life. This is because meditation without practice or realizing what has been meditated upon is like a tree without fruits, or like the dry fig tree inside which the sap of Life is not running. Even the most beautiful dream ceases to be a dream if it doesn't become reality and no purpose is good if it is not accompanied by action. It will be useless to meditate upon the TRUTH if you continue lying and don't live in harmony with what you believe. Meditating on LOVE will serve you no purpose if you continue hating and don't give some of your selves to those around you. And it will serve you no purpose to meditate upon the WILL if you continue falling for small things and do nothing to overcome your weaknesses or work to improve your selves. It's useless to search for the masters if you don't follow their teachings and, truly speaking, they won't give of their substance to those that don't know how to preserve it, because one doesn't throw pearls to swine. Meditate so that you can then realize or put into practice what has been meditated upon. That is the Alchemy of the Spirit. Then, you'll be able to search for the Master that dwells in you, the one that is always guiding your steps, always speaking to your heart, whispering to your ears, seeing in the apple of your eyes and being the breath inside your breath. Then, you'll search that which is your true self within, the INNER CHRIST that sustains your very essence, the one who is perfect and immutable like the CREATOR FATHER who seeks to be in you. Open the doors of your heart so that His light floods the deepest corners of your soul and the shadows flee forever. (Do it) so that the Light in your souls increases and turn your vestments white. Then you'll be your own Master and your own keeper in the Path of Life. Commentaries on the Teaching
When one is concentrated, breathing becomes deep and slows by itself. The process is symmetrical: Deep and rhythmical breathing relaxes the body and calms the mind as its modifications cease by themselves and these (factors) lead to a state of concentration. With the magic of the breath, Man can maintain a state of easy calmness and self control if he also harmonizes his mind with the positive polarization of his thoughts. Knowledge of oneself
Man's Consciousness is his own judge and executioner. Meditation Meditation is not just conducted in silence and solitude, but also in the midst of life's daily noise and agitation. Anyone who for a day's instant dedicates a thought or an action to a spiritual goal is meditating and fulfilling the Divine Will. In this way, he or she is truly living and those instants in daily life can be extended more in order to turn existence into a life dedicated to the Father an eternal song for the CREATOR. Meditation wouldn't make sense if what had been meditated upon wouldn't be put into practice. Its Force is just illusory if it's not manifested in the thoughts, words and deeds of the one meditating. Therefore, the steps to be followed regarding the Spiritual Alchemy are first Meditation and then Realization (or actualization). First meditating on the desired aspect and then realizing its fruit. Only in this way, the seed that was planted in the spirit by the CREATOR will bear its fruit until it also becomes a spring of infinite life. Spiritual work upon the dense plane is the manifestation of the Force of the Spirit as it overcomes the heavy burden imposed by the flesh keeping it prisoner but, at the same time, allows it to acquire the necessary experience in the different planes of manifestation through which it must go in its Path to the Infinite. It's necessary for the DISCERNMENT OF THE SPIRIT to shed some light upon Man's understanding in order to enlighten his Thoughts, his Words and his Deeds so that these, his three (primordial) manifestations, are placed in the service of the True Meaning of Existence, which is, EVOLUTION.
